The Finegres proprietary coating process creates a shiny, non-porous surface, guaranteeing a long-term release unprecedented among ceramic coatings, even under intense and stressful use. When the logo appears on the thermo-chronic flame guard, near the handle, it indicates that the desired cooking temperature is reached. Then, it is possible to lower the heat, as the aluminum body will maintain temperature. Once the heat is off, the logo will in time disappear, and that indicates that the temperature of the cookware is safe to be touched. This pan is suitable for oven use up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and for most cooktops (not induction compatible). It is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.
