In floor and furniture making large Perfect pieces are required but since Ours is ground We can use the imperfect ends. The PLA is made whole cloth from cassava or sugarcane as most other Process are looking for the same things we are (sugars and starches) PLA is the binder, its a plastic Made from sugars in certain plants (sugarcane, cassava). its microwave and dishwasher safe, and emits 1/5 of the greenhouse gases in manufacture as traditional plastics. Its also biodegradable due to being made of plants. Knork eco is BPI certified – ASTM D6400 The re-purposed machines used in the manufacture of the product are the same as Traditional plastics with minor adjustments to accommodate the new material. No new equipment had to be Manufactured. The factory is 100% Powered by electricity which is sources from a variety of local sources
