It was way back in 1974 that D’Addario first introduced phosphor bronze to the crafting of guitar strings, and since then the alloy has become synonymous with warm, bright, well-balanced acoustic tone. These strings are precision wound with corrosion-resistant phosphor bronze onto a hexagonally shaped, high-carbon steel core. The result is bright, long-lasting sound with excellent intonation.
